Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional IT Manager, the MES Coordinator manages the team and supervises the development of the Plant IT applications.

The coordinator together with the team assures change management, incident management and problem resolution, in order to reach the manufacturing goals, minimizing the loss of production due to IT related issues.

In cooperation with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control and Quality Control, the MES Coordinator will focus on analysis and design of MES systems based on the SAP Manufacturing Suite, enhanced with
- made solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and help the team in analysis of the applications (both
- end and
- end) in the SAP MES environment

• Supervise the implementation and support the release of the critical applications in all the plants

• Analyze and develop solutions based on SAP ME and SAP MII

Job Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in Computer Engineering

• Knowledge of machine integration protocols such as Modbus, EUROMAPS63, and OPC-UA is a plus

• SAP PCo (for
- floor PLCs integration)

• Ability to problem solve individually and within a team, ability to make timely decisions

• Experience in managing complex plant projects with
- functional stakeholders; from strategy definition to roadmap execution

• Excel at
- team collaboration, problem solving and have a bias for action to respond to business needs

• Plant operations knowledge (processes/ systems)

• Ability to travel nationally and internationally

• Proficiency in English both oral and written, Italian is a plus

Skills

• SAP ME/MII, Eclipse + SAP HANA Tools, SAP NWDS, Oracle SQL Developer, knowledge of HTML / Java
Script / CSS and one or more libraries or frameworks such as SAPUI5, Angular
JS, Node
JS, etc.
