YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning, modeling, execution and interpretation of electromagnetic simulations for the design of electrical machines electric motors

• Simulation of thermal behavior and electrical efficiency characteristics of the electrical machine

• Creation and verification of simulation models on electrical circuits and of 3D field models to determine the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) on component, system or overall vehicle level

• Evaluation, interpretation and documentation of results as well as technical consulting and preparation of optimization proposals

• Development of new methods and automation of work steps to improve the quality of simulation and results

• Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, physics or a comparable course of study

• Good technical background in powertrain engineering, electrical engineering/magnetics and control engineering

• First experiences in software tools for the simulation of electrotechnical tasks, such as: Ansys (Motor
CAD, Maxwell 3D, HFSS), Altair (Feko, Flux), MATLAB / Simulink, Dymola or Speed

• Independent, structured way of working and analytical thinking skills

• Ability to work in a team, as well as very good communication skills and sense of responsibility

• Fluent in written and spoken English
