In your position as Modern Workplace Specialist you will cooperate with IT colleagues and external partners all over the world. As a Modern Workplace Specialist in FLSmidth, you will be a part of the Modern Workplace team situated in Copenhagen & Chennai, India
Job profile:
Analyses detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for applications. Performs various tasks to maintain IT systems, including installing and configuring software and hardware, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support and training.
Your responsibilities:
Drives analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software
Ensures application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements IT Systems Software Development
Identifies and analyses business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System
Manage the application lifecycle, including updates, patches, and uninstalls.
Oversee daily service delivery, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
Lead incident and problem management efforts, resolving IT issues promptly.
Drive continuous service improvement, identifying and implementing process enhancements.
Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
Ensure IT services comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain documentation and provide regular reports on service performance.
Oversee change management processes to minimize disruptions.
Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
Requirements:
Proficiency in ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
Expertise in
- native development practices and Dev
Ops, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Strong focus on customer service and effective
- solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multicultural environment, engaging with colleagues across regions.
Strong capabilities in managing application lifecycles, including updates, patches, and decommissioning.
Proven experience in driving continuous service improvements and process optimization.
Hands-on experience with software and hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
