Network Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
Job Description
The Network Automation Engineer will be responsible to design, implement, and manage automation solutions for our network infrastructure. This role involves developing and maintaining automation scripts, tools, and processes and collaborating with
- functional teams to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our network operations.

Ops and agile working
In detail your tasks include:
Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks working closely with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
Service Management: Driving escalation and problem management processes, coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers with special focus on automations.
Network Management: Continuously monitor and optimize network performance through automation, ensuring high availability and reliability. Implement and manage automated solutions for network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Security Compliance: Ensure all automation solutions comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation scripts, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent.
- Experience with Dev
Ops practices and tools (Git, CI/CD Pipeline, etc. ).
- Project management experience represents a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or a related role, with a focus on network automation.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, GO or similar.
- Experience with network automation tools and frameworks and cloud networking (, AWS, Azure).
- Excellent
- solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge in agile frameworks, ITSM processes and Dev
Ops (automation, infrastructure/configuration as code) is a plus.
