Position:
As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for a broad variety of tasks to support the Senior Manager, Global Payroll, in the completion of all payrolls for over 475 employees across all offices. You will plan, prioritize and organize company payroll and benefit data changes, such as tax information, direct deposit, and changes to employee records in order to maintain payroll records for processing of a
- weekly,
- monthly and monthly payrolls. You will support global expansion and provide insight for external payroll providers to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance in multiple countries. You will have the chance to strengthen your understanding of both operational and technical payroll processes. The successful candidate will be someone who is looking to progress to global payroll by creating and improving payroll processes. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll and work closely with our HR team as well as the Finance team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and process monthly,
- monthly, and
- weekly payrolls for all Glass Lewis current locations – Romania, France, Ireland, Germany and the UK in Europe, Canada and the USA in North America, and Australia and Japan in Asia - Reviewing and inputting all administrative payroll changes.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure payroll data is correct.
- Communicate effectively with all Payroll provider teams in each location.
- Record journal entries, provide general ledger support for all payroll related transactions.
- Prepare and review payroll related account reconciliations.
- Good understanding of payroll procedures, laws, taxes, and best practices. Learn to understand compliance requirements and implement processes to manage compliance across all office locations.
- Coordinating all tax information, reconciliations and payments and takes ownership for Time & Labour processing and administration of timecards.
- Review quarterly and annual payroll tax filings; ensure all local statutory payroll and fringe benefit reporting requirements are met.
- Resolving any payroll issues and answering payroll related questions in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and 3-5 years’ related payroll experience
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of payroll processes and systems of global payrolls.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and proven experience of using accounting package software.
- Proficient with payroll software.
- Possess logical troubleshooting and problem - solving skills with a proven track record at completing assigned.
- You must have excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
- You must demonstrate an ability to work within a successful team and have a positive can do approach to work, independently or part of a team.
- High attention to detail and an ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience including Pivot table, VLookups and Macros.

To be considered for this opportunity it would be great if you have a GPA certification or equivalent qualification, demonstrate a strong foundation in payroll practices, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial services payroll environment. Experience in EMEA payrolls, and nice to have are Oracle and TMS (HRIS Europe).
