Mission
Key member of the Site Strategy Execution team, the role is leading the execution of the affordable medicine roadmap to deliver ‘on time in full’ commitments from LRP and budget: material cost, conversion cost, overhead cost are at stake by engaging relevant functions and operations in the organization;
The role will be as well accountable to define the most appropriate performance management system (reporting and governance) to achieve a common way of working and measure across the various functions and sites involved;
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
Process
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance;
Support continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and operational excellence techniques, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities;
Identify and quantify all type of waste versus standard of the current products;
Analyse and identify key areas of improvement for operational processes and efficiency on production lines;
Define the target COGS for next 5 for site aligned with the Company strategy input; use benchmarks as reference for each element of cost by technology of products;
Together with Controlling ensure consistent cost engineering management processes which could be applied in business. Align and engage with stakeholders to ensure all cost ideas are input in order to prepare complex cost models validated and simulated with Controlling;
Close collaboration with Lean Specialists in each Value Stream;
Reporting
Monitor the overall tracking of initiatives that deliver the expected results;
Weekly and Monthly Reporting driven by KPIs dashboard;
Monitor and review data and information to detect and assess problems and make recommendations to resolve issues;
Ensure appropriate monitoring, reporting systems and procedures are in place to meet objectives;
Provide strategic and operational information and reports to share with others when required;
Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required;
Standardize
Put in place the Operational Excellence concept, ensure training and knowledge at all levels;
Capture good practices across the organization (techniques, processes, management etc. . );
Share good practices across the organization;
Feedback to process / functions owners the new standards requirement for future development of processes / products;
REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or Chemistry/Pharmacy;
Multiple years of direct lean implementation experience - in production environment with a proven track record in using 5S, KAIZEN, SMED, VSM/VSD, Visual management;
Working in a c
GMP facility (EU or FDA regulated) is a plus;
Knowledge of project management methodology (PMP - Project Management Professional, CSM – Certified Scrum
Master, or CPM - Certified Project Manager) is a plus;
Experience working with all levels of management is desirable;
Strong analytical skills; deal with numbers; financial planning; budgets and results awareness;
Presentation Skills a must;
English – advanced level;
