We are looking for a PHP Developer passionate about writing
- quality, efficient code and can hit the ground running. You take pride in your craft and are dedicated to improving the codebase in meaningful ways.

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and performant software solutions. You will work closely with a creative backend team, contributing to all development lifecycle phases—from initial specification to testing and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Design and implement new features while improving the existing codebase using best PHP practices. Work in an agile environment (Kanban/Scrum, XP, CI/CD, TDD). Collaborate closely with the product team to translate requirements into scalable,
  - performance solutions.

• Application Operability: Ensure fast and stable software delivery in a Dev
  Ops environment. Troubleshoot and optimize the core product software to enhance functionality, stability, and efficiency.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with new technologies, experiment, and embrace a
  - fast mindset. Take ownership of tasks, suggest improvements, and work proactively to enhance software quality.

• Feature Implementation: Work closely with other teams and product managers to implement new features.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure smooth user experiences.

• On-Call Support: Be available for
  - call duties as part of a rotating schedule to support critical system issues. Quickly diagnose and resolve production incidents to ensure high system availability. Work proactively to reduce
  - call disruptions by improving system reliability and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with PHP ( experience with Vanilla PHP, PHP7 & PHP8).

• Strong OOP principles and MVC architecture knowledge.

• Proficient with My
  SQL (database design, complex queries, performance tuning).

• Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools.

• Solid understanding of PHP best practices, unit testing (PHPUnit), and secure coding standards.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.

• Willingness to participate in an
  - call rotation to support critical systems.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Cloud
  Watch).

• Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.

• Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular and React, as well as backend technologies like Node. js.

• Exposure to monitoring tools (Kibana, New Relic).

• Prior experience working with payment processors (Adyen, Optile, Google Play).

• Hands-on experience refactoring and modernizing legacy PHP applications.
