The National Institute of Nuclear Physics and Engineering in Bucharest, Romania invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the field of neutron stars. The position is for 24 months with a start date preferably before January 15, 2025 (flexible).
The candidate must have a Ph
D degree (or equivalent) in theoretical nuclear or
- physics, established track record in neutron stars physics and excellent computational skills. The successful applicant will join the group of Dr. Raduta and Dr. Beznogov and pursue research in one of the following subjects: equations of state, crust formation and crystallization,
- equilibrium neutrino processes, transport properties.
The position offers a competitive salary and social benefits.
