Client Description:
The Public Relations (PR) Specialist will be responsible to shape and protect our corporate image in ways that promote our business, values and mission. You’ll be responsible for maintaining media relations and collaborating with marketing teams in promotional activities.
We expect to see candidates who can impress us with their copywriting and presentation skills. We’ll be on the lookout for experience in corporate & commercial communications, project management and social media. Throw a lot of enthusiasm and a pleasant personality into the mix and you’ll be our ideal candidate.
The goal is to maintain positive public awareness of the company and its brand.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures execution of a coherent local PR strategy and communication in line with the European and global directions, as well as with Samsung brand strategy and identity
- Up to date with European and Global Communication directions, as well as with PR dedicated activities.
- Develops PR activities to amplify brand campaigns & product launches, including press and influencers communication.
- Manages media relations and requests, cultivates and maintains relationships with national media outlets, journalists and influencers.
- Manages the press kit materials for media outlets, including press releases, interviews, infobytes, advertorials, product reviews, and speech proposals from agency briefing to internal approval.
- Responsible for PR activities for events, including press conferences, NDA events, launch events or consumer events.
- Develops the local calendar of activities, in line with the global and local communication plan.
- Develops PR briefs for projects to be implemented at a local level.
- Responsible for PR sample management together with the agency, including corresponding logistic and reporting.
- Ensures reaching PR KPIs within subsidiary. Sets, monitors and reports PR KPI’s achievement at local level.
- Responsible for local PR campaigns, including setup, execution, flow, monitoring and reporting.
- Responsible for PR budget within subsidiary. Negotiates with the Agency the budget in order to make campaigns more efficient.
- Responsible for PR actions in integrated campaigns at local level.
- Provides relevant analysis and insights across various data sources, related to PR activities and topics.
- Manages relevant agencies in charge with PR activities.
- Negotiates with the relevant agencies the budget & deliverables in order to make campaigns more efficient.
- Manages PR listening activities: monitors the conversations about the brand, reports and generates insights when needed.
- Involved in PR crisis management.
- Evaluates Agency performance on PR activities.
- Keeps up to date all parties involved with PR activities.
- Responsible for internal coordination/approvals of PR campaigns.
- Is aware of the objectives of the position, reports and analyses the results and proposes future actions.
- Responsible for obtaining results correctly and in time.
- Responsible for using the assigned fixed assets properly.
- Treats company information, operation and documents confidential.
- Is aware of the company policies and internal regulation and acts accordingly.
- Performs other activities and tasks which are delegated to employee by the line manager keeping in mind the legal regulation.
Candidate Profile:
Skills and Qualifications
Verbal communication: able to convey information effectively to the public, media, and other members of your organization.
Listening: listen carefully so that you can understand what others are telling you and respond appropriately.
Writing: excellent writing skills are essential.
Interpersonal: ability to get along well with others and to develop constructive relationships with different stakeholders. You must be persuasive and able to negotiate.
Requirements
Proven experience as PR Specialist or similar position
Experience in Project Management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives
Experience in copywriting and editing
Working knowledge of MS Office;
Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc. )
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
Proficiency in English
A creative yet practical mind
BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism, marketing or relevant field
