Ericsson is the leading mobile communications manufacturer driving global 5G journey. Our factory (around 600 employees) in Timisoara is the main factory, where production of 5G Antenna technology takes place for customers around the globe.
As a Product Engineer with expertise in packaging, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of product designs with a focus on packaging solutions. You will collaborate with
- functional teams to ensure that products are not only functionally robust but also packaged efficiently for transportation, storage, and
- user experience.
Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a specialization in Automatic Wave and Selective Soldering to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining soldering processes, ensuring product quality, and maximizing efficiency. Your expertise will be crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives in soldering processes.

Qualification and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a focus on soldering processes.
Proven experience in automatic wave and selective soldering in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of soldering materials, equipment, and techniques.
Familiarity with quality control and assurance methods.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to soldering processes and equipment.
Experience with process documentation and documentation management.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a
- paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in soldering processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in soldering or related fields.
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Benefits:
Christmas, Easter and vacation bonus – total amount of 2500 Ron net;
Meal tickets – 35 Ron/ day;
Transportation bonus - 240 Ron/month
Medical insurance (Allianz Tiriac): free membership for employee;
Vacation days: 25 working days /year
Pay date: 20th day of next payment month
In case of travel, daily allowance, transport, and accommodation will be paid according with EAR’s travel policy.
