Job role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Expert to join our Procurement team. The Procurement Expert will be responsible for overseeing and executing the tactical and operational Procurement processes, mainly in the Professional Services area, negotiating and administrating contracts and working to achieve Allianz Group savings target.
What you will do
- Manage procurement activities in the category of Professional Services with a focus on services procurement (i. e. , consultancy staff) and temporary labor (i. e. , agency staff).
- Assess business requests, specify demand and deliverables, execute defined procurement activities to ensure a timely start of the project and onboarding of supplier personnel.
- Drive tactical sourcing initiatives incl. selection of potential suppliers, coordination of bids and interviews, assessment of CVs and proposals, negotiation of commercial terms.
- Execute contracting activities incl. coordination of contract extension cycles, alignment with stakeholders, review of legally correct service descriptions, amendment of contract documents, administration of contract repository.
- Onboard supplier personnel onto the external workforce system ensuring data and document completeness and compliance.
- Manage the relationship with selected suppliers to ensure adherence with company requirements and expectations throughout the lifecycle of the engagement. Monitor deliverables expectations, track performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Consult and support both internal and external stakeholders in all procurement related matters incl. process training and problem resolution.
- Support the implementation of procurement processes and systems to enhance operations.
- Coordinate change requests, monitor contract cycles and savings initiatives and support
- supported RFQ processes.
What you bring
- 3 years+ of work experience in Procurement, Contract Administration, HR Sourcing, or related fields
- Experience in project management, direct search, or contract administration
- Strong understanding of Procurement processes, procedures, and best practices
- Customer-first and
- oriented mindset with the ability to build relationships - Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
You have
- Self-starter: solution orientated with a high level of autonomy and proactivity
- Good analytical skills and affinity to data and technology
- Experience with SAP ARIBA, Beeline or other Procurement tools would be an advantage
- Proficient in the common MS-Office programs
- Fluent English written and spoken (any other language is a plus
