The Mission

Wholesale Banking Data Lake, one of the largest & most complex in ING, is actively onboarding new data flows and transitioning the tactical solutions to the ING global model of storing, modelling and distributing data throughout the organization.  

Within the WB Data Management Tribe, the Product Owner will work in a
- border and
- functional team focused on supporting the delivery commercial initiatives across the Wholesale Data Management Platform, supporting the offensive data strategy of the bank. The PO will be responsible for building out, prioritizing and deliver the business requirements for the data flows in an agile way, while aligning different parties across the data delivery chain.

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience : min 2 years in in coordinating/managing IT deliveries

Tech stack/ knowledge : SQL

- Previous banking experience

- Concrete experience with working in a data & IT driven organization

- Strong analytical skills and energy of translating complexity into a clear vision and structure

- Focus on delivery through collaboration, ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose.

- Outstanding communication skills (ability to communicate clearly, effectively & consistently in different contexts and cultures).

- Strong relationship management exposure, with prior experience working collaboratively in a cross functional team.  

- Resilience and grit in handling escalations of different stakeholders with conflicting priorities

- “MVP” driven, making continuous impact in a complex environment.

- Self-starter with a good ability to work in a global team across various locations.

- Good knowledge of the agile way of working

Foreign languages:  English (Proficient)

Education : Bachelor’s degree in economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
