Responsibilities:
- RFQ and benchmark management (sourcing committee, supplier awarding, price negotiations, contract management);
- Supplier selection, supplier management, supplier development, business reviews;
- Proactively identifies and solves issues related to suppliers and allocated materials – escalation point for operational functions;
- Continuous engagement with market in order to assure the supply chain continuity in case of allocation, strategic shortages;
- Commodity lead buyer (only for the awarded categories) responsible for divisional procurement processes across 3 to 4 locations;
- Data accuracy in internal system: SAP/ databases;
- Proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the procurement process;
- KPIs implementation and monitoring: PPV, supplier spend, price increases, cost savings, cost reduction plan;
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree;
- Advanced English,
- Advanced MS-Office;
- Experience of at least 3 years in the automotive field or in similar fields;
- Technical knowledge 3 years in the automotive field or in similar fields is a plus;
- Experience in negotiating contracts for direct materials, investments, equipment or technical solutions;
- Good synchronization with external suppliers in order to comply with the agreed terms;
- Experience in cost analysis / offers from suppliers;
- Advanced presentation skills;
- Ability to manage change of priorities for several projects at the same time;
- SAP knowledge is a plus;
