We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team!

The goal of the team will be to ensure that project assets are of the highest possible quality, allowing Project Managers to deliver on time, on budget and to specification with confidence.

Our QA team works alongside Project Managers, Business Analysts and Developers every day to ensure projects meet specified requirements and assisting them and the client in achieving the desired quality in the developed products.

Responsibilities:

- Collaboration with developers in creating testable "Definition of Done"

- Designing tests that clearly convey the business rules and code, make sure that both business users and developers can understand the test cases

- Working with a QA Lead to develop project test plans

- Communicating the QA plan, strategy and progress to clients

- Create, execute and debug performance tests

- Create, execute and debug automated tests

- Taking over an existing test suite and executing it on a monthly basis

- Working with the QA Lead or a Sr. QA Engineer to create reasonable level of effort estimates that balance business and technical needs

- Managing defect tracking and performing defect root cause analysis

- Educating and mentoring other team members on agile testing practices and tools

- Suggesting new tools and processes for the agile team

- Openly participating in continuous practice improvement

Required Technical Skills and Experience

- 2 - 4 years testing experience; writing, maintaining, and executing test cases

- Experience with software test automation required

- Demonstrated knowledge of Puppeteer automated testing framework

- Ability to work in a
- functional team (Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, etc. )

- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate the needs of the QA team on specific projects

- Experience with defect management software, such as Jira

- The confidence to ask the tough questions necessary to ensure continuous improvement

- Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries to perform data verification and set up test data

Other Requirements

- Great attention to detail and strong communication skills

- Web application testing experience strongly preferred

- At least one year of previous development experience (Java, Python, PHP or similar)

- Experience in agile testing/agile methodologies would be a plus

- Nice to have – experience with E-commerce platforms (SFCC, Magento) or/and CMS (ex: Adobe Experience Manager)

- Fluent in English written and verbal communication
