Quality Assurance Engineer (Software Testing)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and
- oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive software testing plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. Your expertise in software testing will help identify defects and issues early, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and design test plans and test cases to ensure full coverage of product features and functionality.
• Conduct manual testing of products to identify defects and errors and provide detailed reports on results.
• Perform daily product checks for the company.
• Conduct weekly/monthly product checks for the company.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues identified during testing, logging defects in the
- tracking system.
• Develop and maintain test data sets, including mock data and sample inputs.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
• Participate in developing testing frameworks, tools, and processes to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
• At least 4–6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of HTTP request structure (method, URI, HTTP version, host address, headers, parameters).
• Knowledge of HTTP response structure (response status, headers, and body).
• Ability to work with JSON/XML, understanding these formats' structure, and finding errors in them.
• Excellent analytical and
- solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in test automation or interest in developing in this direction.
• Familiarity with Dev
Ops practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with test management tools (e. g. , Allure).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of containerized service build and delivery cycles.
• Knowledge of security testing methods and methodologies.
