Job Description

Our client is looking for a problem solver with extensive experience in mobile robot design and a passion for building functional systems with
- world applicability. You will lead the mechanical engineering side of their robotic systems from concept to production.

Main tasks:

• Conceptualization, design and development of innovative mechanical systems for robotic applications;
• Rapid prototyping, testing and iterating designs for functional excellence;
• Collaboration with hardware and software teams for seamless integration of designs;
• Solving
  - world challenges with creative and effective mechanical solutions;
• Documentation of designs, calculations and testing for scalability and production;
• Lab and jobsite testing of prototypes and improvement towards the next iteration.  

• Vision and creativity to "invent" machinery and mechanical systems;
• Proven expertise: Solid experience in mechanical design for robotics or automation. Proficient in the use of CAD (Fusion360 or Solid
  Works) and FEA tools.
• Problem solver mindset: Ability to quickly identify and solve design challenges;
• Hands-on approach: Comfortable with prototyping and testing in a
  - paced environment;
• Startup ready: Adaptable, resourceful and prepared to work with limited resources and tight deadlines;
• Collaborative attitude: Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software and electronics);
• Execution-oriented: Delivers results, avoiding perfectionism and adapting to
  - minute changes;
