About the Role
We are looking for an aspiring,
- oriented SDR to join our growing Sales team at hackajob. You will play an instrumental role in our success as a business as you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth by being
- focused on pipeline generation. You will be responsible for generating qualified leads with senior
- makers and working closely with experienced Account Executives to convert these opportunities into new business.

Your Mission
- Identify New Business Opportunities with companies who are an ideal profile for our Enterprise Technical Recruitment Solution.
- Effectively communicate the challenges our personas face and hackajob’s value proposition in a
- organised and thoughtful manner. - Generate qualified opportunities each month via a
- channel approach of phone calls, emails, video, and Linked
In. - Work closely with our marketing team to nurture and convert whitepaper leads, as well as feedback on campaigns to optimise our lead generation process.
- Thoroughly qualify leads through strategic questioning and active listening that allows you to uncover their potential pain points and gaps in their current workflow.
- Take ownership of your prospecting pipeline and ensure strong CRM hygiene by keeping records up to date.
What are we looking for?
- The confidence and willingness to cold call prospect companies daily;
- Good IT skills, especially with
- based tools, including Linked
In; - Knowledge of sales tools like Salesforce is an advantage;
- Excellent
- building and
- management skills; - Great communication both by phone and email;
- A growth mindset to drive your success and development in this role;
- A preference for collaboration because helping each other is intrinsic to our shared success;
- A genuine desire to change the technical recruitment industry, with the ambition to be at the forefront of this transformation;
- A proactive approach to involvement in team activities and discussions, showing your commitment to the team’s success and your own professional growth;
- Professional English Speaker (C1) with experience making professional calls in English is essential.

You’ll be coached and trained on how to level up in the following areas:
- Account identification - how to identify and spot triggers that indicate an account has a high chance on converting.
- Executive presence - how to mirror and match your prospect’s energy to be seen as an equal in the conversation and ask the questions you want. You’ll also be taught how to tailor your messaging depending on the persona e. g. ATL vs BTL
- Cold calling - you’ll have weekly calling reviews with your manager to feedback on your structure, tonality, discovery questions, objection handling as well as roleplays.
- Emailing - you’ll have email audits take place to review and feedback on your messaging and taught how to personalise at scale and ensure relevancy.
- On-going weekly sales training with the wider sales team on methodologies to level us up as a team.
