SAP CAR Functional Analyst

E) Data Insights & Analytics is responsible for the delivery of regional solutions to our great local brands.
The Data Insights & Analytics Co
E designs, configures, implements and operates a regional Data Platform foundation using SAP technologies (SAP BW, SAP BO/BODS, SAP CAR, SAP HANA) for Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Hub use cases, enabling strategic capabilities on the Retail, Marketing, Financial areas, Supply Chain and E-commerce business domains.
The SAP CAR Analyst acts as a liaison between the Centre of Excellence BI organization and the various regional and local IT and Business teams concerning SAP CAR/HANA topics.
Key responsibilities of your role.
- Focus in building functional knowledge and expertise in the SAP CAR module under the guidance of the existing team.
- Work with stakeholders to compose and review change requests, ensuring alignment with retail operations.
- Customize configurations within CAR POSDTA to meet unique business needs, focusing on data accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Analyze and maintain outbound and inbound interfaces between SAP CAR and sender/receiver systems
- Functional analysis and documentation of the business requirements
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the configuration aligns with business goals and SAP CAR best practices.
- Support when it is needed the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Deployment to production system.
- Interaction with the application support organization
- Work
- directed and independently- 3-5 years of experience in retail supermarket operations, ideally with POS systems and SAP environment (CAR, SD, MM, FI).
- Experience in business analysis, focusing on the translation of operational needs into functional requirements.
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, document, and propose solutions for retail application incidents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with store operators, management, and technical teams.
- Basic experience with SAP systems in order to understand the fundamentals of SAP ecosystem
- Basic experience with SAP CAR (Preferred , not required)
- Any data and functional knowledge on the following systems is a plus:
- Customer Loyalty solutions
- POS solutions
- e
Commerce platforms - Retail and Financial Systems (i. e. SAP Retail)
- Customer Relationship Management systems

Requirements.
We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in retail supermarket operations, ideally with POS systems and SAP environment (CAR, SD, MM, FI).
