We are hiring a SAP Finance Configuration Specialist in Cluj-Napoca to be part of our global Finance Integrated Solutions (FIS) team! This global group falls under the finance umbrella, but is a blend of technology, accounting/finance, and business practices. The team serves as an intermediary between IT and the business, so we are confident you will appreciate this
- functional experience. What You Will Be Doing:

Contribute directly to the
- business transformation of finance across regions and functions including an SAP migration to S/4 HANA.

Participate in global,
- functional projects where Finance is a stakeholder and own small to medium functional continuous improvement projects.

Ensure integration of financial systems and data sources through compliance and control best practices.

Ensure reliability and consistency of key master data.

Perform data wrangling and analysis and complete analysis with minimal supervision.

Support the monthly closing process as required.

Your Future Team:  You will be a key member of our Finance solutions engineering team architecting and creating technical solutions and/or data analytics to support the Finance strategy, achieving the triumvirate of business partnering, efficiency and compliance & control.  Over the next 2 years, you will play a key role in our
- wide Business Transformation team, transforming business processes and rolling out S/4Hana across Steelcase entities in EMEA and APAC, driving harmonization and deployment of

- standards solutions.   Who You Are: You have a passion for using technology to solve business problems. You can strike a balance between working in a team and doing deep work individually.  

Minimum Qualifications

You have at least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, or in a similar role.  

Basic knowledge of system configuration for SAP Finance modules.

You have proven experience of being involved in process improvement initiatives.  

You have an advanced level of English, both spoken and written.

Desired Skills and Experience 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance or information systems.  

Hands on experience with S/4Hana would be an advantage.

Project experience in a leading role (small-medium size projects) or a supporting role (large enterprise projects).
