About the Role
We are seeking a mature, adaptable, and
- on SCRUM Master to join our team in developing innovative products within an agile environment. This role goes beyond traditional SCRUM Master responsibilities and requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with
- functional teams, Product Owners (POs), and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a background in R&D, understands complex project dependencies, and is comfortable adjusting key metrics to ensure
- quality, timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
SCRUM Leadership & Agile Facilitation:
Lead and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies (daily
- ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.Train and support the team in Agile methodologies, particularly in SCRUM and Kanban practices, to increase productivity and foster a collaborative environment.
Project & Product Development:
Support the development of innovative products, ensuring alignment between project management and product goals.
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to understand and prioritize product requirements, manage dependencies, and adjust project plans accordingly.
Assist the team in navigating complex development cycles, setting achievable goals, and tracking progress using key metrics (e. g. , cycle time, lead time).
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
Act as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders, including the Product Owner, platform teams, and
- functional departments.Adapt communication style to suit diverse audiences and effectively manage change to ensure smooth adoption of processes and changes within the team.
Adaptation to Industry & Delivery Models:
Tailor Agile practices to fit our delivery model, aligning with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) requirements and the unique needs of R&D in a software development context.
Apply industry best practices while remaining flexible to adapt processes that best suit the team’s dynamic and
- specific requirements.
Metrics-Driven Improvement:
Use key metrics (such as cycle time and lead time) to assess and improve team performance, promoting transparency and accountability.
Collaborate with the team to set realistic goals and work towards continuous delivery and optimization of the delivery pipeline.
Qualifications
Experience:
3+ years as a SCRUM Master, Agile Coach, or similar role, preferably with a background in R&D or product development.
Proven experience working in
- functional teams within a software development or platform environment.
Agile & Project Management Skills:
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM and Kanban, with experience adapting practices to team needs and project demands.
Experience in Agile metrics (cycle time, lead time) and
- driven
- making to drive team performance.
Technical Understanding:
Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and dependencies, ideally in an R&D or complex software development environment.
Ability to navigate dependencies and align project activities with product development objectives.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communicator, able to collaborate with POs, stakeholders, and
- functional teams.Flexible and open to change, with strong
- solving skills and the ability to manage change effectively within a team.Hands-on,
- motivated, and proactive approach to project management.
Certifications (Preferred):
SCRUM Master Certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent.
Additional Agile training in Kanban, change management, or Agile coaching is a plus.
