About the Role We’re seeking a Sr Accountant to enhance our financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting at Regiondo Gmb
H. In this role, you'll manage complex accounting tasks, streamline processes, and support compliance with international financial regulations. Your expertise will be key in driving efficiency and providing strategic financial insights as we continue to grow across Europe. What you will do: Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage and oversee the daily operations of AP and AR processes. Ensure timely and accurate recording, processing, and payment of invoices. Monitor accounts receivable, ensure timely collection, and maintain aging reports. Financial Statements and ERP Integration: Prepare, analyze, and ensure the accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement). Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports. Support the implementation and integration of Net
Suite ERP into the existing accounting and financial processes. DATEV Accounting: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with German accounting standards using DATEV. Work on data migration, reconciliations, and integration within DATEV. VAT and Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with European VAT laws, including preparation and submission of VAT returns. Manage VAT reporting and oversee accounting for permanent establishments (PEs) in different European countries. Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure tax compliance and resolve any
- related issues. Audit and Controls: Liaise with external auditors and ensure readiness for audits, both internal and statutory. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business decisions. Work closely with the finance and management teams to provide insights into financial performance. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems for efficiency and scalability. Stay updated on changes in German GAAP, IFRS, and European accounting standards. What we are looking for: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Suite ERP is highly desirable. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of German GAAP, IFRS, and European VAT regulations.
