As a Senior Backend Developer in our Digital Platformsand Solutions organization, you will be responsible for building backend coreservices that will be reused by

What You Bring

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in Software Development and Architecture.
• Ability to deliver rapidly and reliably with the highest quality standards.
• Passion for

• Consultant / communication / explanation skills, preferrable forplatform offered solutions 
• Ability to understand, document and present technicalproblems and possible solutions to partner teams and stakeholders

• Should be able to mentor juniors, maintain coding standards.
• Take ownership of their work, manage deliverables with stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in the latest version of. Net/C# frameworks.
• Experience with relational/data warehouse databases (My
  SQL, Postgre
  SQL, Snowflake) and No
  SQL database (Elasticsearch, Cassandra).
• Proficiency with version control (Gitlab) and tools like
  Confluence and Jira.
• Knowledge of
  - based architectures, serverless and Object-orientedprogramming concepts.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
  - agnosticdevelopment (Docker, Kubernetes).
• API design and development for RESTful and Graph
  QL services.
• Familiarity with Dev
  Ops concepts - CI/CD, Containerization, Test-Driven
  Development.
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems,
  - line tools, andscripting.
• Experience with additional languages like Java, Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of orchestration services, network discovery, andmanagement services is a plus.
• Experience with HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, React is a plus.

Product Development Function within Siemens Energy. Our mission is to grow thedigital software business and develop solutions and products for our externalcustomers, covering everything from edge data acquisition and data lakeprocessing to the development of digital twins and apps around customer assets.
