Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.  

Our client is Kingfisher, a British multinational home improvement company, headquartered in London. The organization is currently expanding the Cloud Engineering team and, as part of this initiative, we are currently seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer for the Tooling team to join our ranks.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Endava, you will play an integral part in our innovative tech hub, engaging with various aspects of technology. The position is a hybrid one, based in Cluj, requiring office presence two days per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Driving automation in all technical areas.
• Supporting the design and delivery of the engineering platform, pipelines and paths to production.
• Working closely with colleagues in and outside of the team to create, deliver and support the platform in line with our infrastructure strategy.
• Reviewing automation in technical areas and recommend improvements.
• Deploying, planning and maintaining Iaa
  S, Paa
  S & tooling capabilities.
• Creation and ongoing ownership of the platform common standards and practices.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• A strong background and working knowledge of Agile, Dev
  Ops, SRE and Dev
  Ex practices and tools such as Git
  Lab, Jenkins, Git, Jira, Confluence, Backstage etc.
• Experience in one of more of Sonar
  Qube, Nexus, Microfocus.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, with exposure to GCP and/or Azure being a plus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or Cloud
  Formation.
• A strong technical background in configuration of efficient CI/CD pipelines for applications using various technology stacks.
• A good understanding and any experience of monitoring tools like Datadog or Dynatrace.
• Have strong
  - solving skills to help the teams when decisions are needed.
