Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our team. The successful

candidate will be responsible for managing and performing work across multiple areas

of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and

administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and

developing Java (Spring Boot) applications and experience in building CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business

goals

- Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and

reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle

- Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions

- Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into

the

- end business process flow

- Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive
- use and improve

engineering capability

- Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies,

tools and solutions in the Bank.

- Playing a role in mentoring and coaching of less experienced engineers.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in software development

- Strong analytical problem solving skills and a structured approach to converting

ideas into concepts, design and code

- Extensive knowledge of design and architectural patterns

- Experience in designing and implementing high availability solutions /

microservices

- Knowledge and experience of agile values, principles and methods (e. g. based on

SCRUM or Kanban)

- Proficiency in implementing microservices with Java and Spring Boot

- Solid knowledge of Linux, Docker, SQL, Kafka/Pub
Sub

- Experience with SDLC tools – Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Github

- Automation mindset and experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines,

ideally Github Actions

- Knowledge and experience in cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform

(GCP)

Authentication and Authorization , TLS / SSL

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, or equivalent.

Preferred:

- Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript on Node. js
