Your day to Day

You will coordinate the design, development, testing, deployment and operations of the system (Smallworld GIS Suite) and affiliated solutions in line with business needs and the OSS domain strategy.

You will focus on designing and implementing the systems infrastructure. Supports the entire application lifecycle of the system in close collaboration with tool engineering and IT operations.

You will coordinates the translation of business demands into technical requirements and identifies the affected areas. Checks feasibility of demands with regards to local business, IT and security needs.

You will serves as an interface towards all IT Operations Teams (Application, DB) and security departments.

• You will track internal & external service providers and tool vendors, aligns, updates with project team

• You will document and track project phases and tasks

• You will open new access requests, incidents and tracks until completion

• You will action item tracking

• You will supports design and operations of Hardware , Software inventory and installation,

• You will monitor Security management

• You will create Comm Matrix

• Create Firewall Tickets

• Elimination of vulnerabilities

• Extension of the IT architecture

• Expansion and improvement of the Citrix environment.

• Interface conception to different tools

• Create Workarounds in case of problems.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Common IT infrastructure and architectures,

• Operating systems, esp. Windows Server

• Software deployment processes

• ITIL (service, incident and problem management)

• IT Networks (firewalls, access permissions, interfaces etc. ), Linux

• Experience with OSS Inventory Management solutions systems, ideally physical network OSS inventory systems such as Smallworld PNI

• Basic knowledge

DBMS

• Virtualization ( MS VMs, Citrix, Docker and Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of most common IT development frameworks and domains’ specific software tools and IT, including Jira and Confluence (having AGILE-SAFE mindset as foundation)

• Solid Software development lifecycle experience

• Good knowledge of telecommunication business in terms of IT and Network technologies
