About the role & team

You will join a team that is focused on delivering secure content management. Through our legacy product - IRM (Information Rights Management) - we offer the security of our client's content, behind and beyond the firewall. By managing the access and permissions of the content, our clients have complete control over content that is shared outside of the Intralinks environment.

Our most recent project - a document analysis system - accelerates financial deals by managing content processing pipelines with the aim of providing targeted, relevant metadata to our clients. These insights reduce friction and prevent delays in the review stages of deals, ensuring the optimal conditions for parties to get their work done.

Your Responsibilities

• As a Senior Full
  Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the architectural design of new services and you will communicate your vision and standards to your team members and stakeholders, while accounting for the technical details and risks associated with software initiatives
• Embrace iterative development using Agile methodologies that involve design, development and deployment
• Work closely with your Product Owner to define stories for the team’s backlog, in order to translate business needs into technical items
• Stay committed to provide valuable opinion for code quality, efficiency, and maintainability
• Ensure application development principles, standards, and best practices are followed by writing high quality code and actively anticipating in code reviews
• Communicate well with other members of the cross functional organization to advance the development goals of the team
• Collaborate with other software engineers as well as designers, business stakeholders, and clients
• Contribute towards the maintenance and support of production releases
• Enrich the
  - base of the organization with relevant documentation
• Plan and execute functional and performance testing on the deliverable product
• Respond to major incidents reported by our clients - help our support teams to solve quickly the issues
• Share your knowledge with your junior team members — a big part of your success is helping others around you improve

Your Experience

• Experience in
  - scale distributed systems
• Experience in designing, developing, integrating with REST-based APIs.
• Experience coding in Javascript, Type
  Script, and Node. js
• Experience with a JVM language (Java, Kotlin)
• Experience with CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Development) pipeline (e. g. Jenkins)
• Experience with relational databases
• Understanding of
  - services architecture
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, SVN etc.
• Familiar with Agile - Scrum / Kanban methodology and practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu systems
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm and Docker containers
• Working knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous programming, and
  - driven programming models
• Familiarity with Backbone. js
• Knowledge on JMS and AMQP
• Working experience with. Net Framework /. Net Core
• Experience with troubleshooting network or application protocols
• Familiar with Atlassian Suite - Jira, Confluence
