About the Role

We are looking for . NET Developers to join our existing team and contribute to the development of the Loan Processor system for a leading Romanian bank. The role involves working on a highly scalable backend solution that handles loan repayment processing, built with . NET Core 8, REST APIs, Kafka, and Saga Pattern for process orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using . NET Core 8.

• Implement Kafka consumers that trigger loan repayment processes.

• Work with Saga Pattern to ensure reliable process execution.

• Manage data persistence and logging in Oracle DB.

• Integrate with core banking systems via SOAP services (update facility, create
- hoc charges, etc. ), following business analyst specifications.

• Contribute to the ongoing transition from a monolithic architecture to microservices.

• Support development testing, ensuring proper data simulation across different test environments.

• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for long-running repayment processes.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in. NET Core 6+ (preferably. NET Core 8).

• Experience with Kafka (producers/consumers, message streaming).

• Understanding of Saga Pattern for distributed transactions.

• Proficiency in REST API design and implementation.

• Database experience with Oracle DB (query optimization, transactions, logging).

• Familiarity with SOAP services (consumption, integration with legacy banking systems).

• Experience working in a monolithic architecture with future plans for microservices is a plus.

• Good debugging and testing skills, especially in repayment processes.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in banking/financial services.

• Exposure to distributed system design and event-driven architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
