Year after year with LEONI

• Plan, standardize and further develop the global enterprise network;

• Design and implement strategic projects and proof of concepts;

• Perform technical management of global network projects as the lead architect;

• Oversee the conception and expansion of the LEONI
- premise network through cloud infrastructures;

• Manage external service providers in global LAN/WAN/WIFI projects;

• Present specially created concepts at the management level;

• Take responsibility for the strategic roadmap of the network infrastructure;

• Provide 3rd level support for critical incidents in the LAN/WAN/WIFI area;

• Act as an interface to other teams and LEONI business units;

• Represent the network team in architecture committees.

• You have 5-7 years of professional experience in the field of network infrastructure, primarily based on solutions from the manufacturer CISCO;

• You feel just as comfortable on the CLI as you do developing and presenting complex concepts;

• You have expert knowledge in the areas of LAN / WAN / WIFI / VPN; 

• You have good knowledge of Network Access Control, preferably with CISCO ISE; 

• Certifications at CISCO CCNP / CCIE level are an advantage;

• You have experience with Software Defined WAN solutions and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS);

• You posses good knowledge of scripting and automation; 

• You value open communication and actively advance topics that are important to you;

• You can conduct technical discussions and presentations in English;

• You feel ready for the tasks and have experience in the field of network security;

• The ability to work in a team and under pressure rounds off your profile.

The ideal candidate will be willing to travel internationally when necessary, collaborate globally with support teams, show a willingness to learn, and have a positive and flexible attitude.
