We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team!

We need a
- motivated, energetic individual that is a technology advocate and specialist on Devops. You will oversee the migration process and design, maintain and monitor the new cloud platform, as well as configuring hybrid connectivity between
- site systems and the cloud environment. The best candidate for this role is a specialist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud services within the Microsoft Azure platform. You will bring a blend of technical skills, with the communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the IT team.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud solutions, including exit strategies;

Managing and monitoring cloud infrastructures for optimal performance and
- efficiency, automating deployments with Azure Dev
Ops, Power
Shell, and ARM templates;

Ensuring data protection and compliance, and collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud services;

Conducting disaster recovery planning and implementing backup strategies;

Optimising resource utilisation, keeping up to date with Azure updates, and providing technical support;

Developing and maintaining documentation, facilitating legacy system migrations, and managing security and access controls;

Implementing infrastructure as code (Ia
C) and automated data protection practices;

Supporting cloud adoption, ensuring performance standards, and participating in a 24/7
- call rotation for technical escalations.

Requirements

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

7+ years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for Azure Cloud;

Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization of cloud platforms;

Experience with Iaa
S and Paa
S solutions;

Experience in the design, migration and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systems;

Experience working within an Agile framework;

Experience in Ia
C development with Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible;

Proficient with GIT to perform source code management;

Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure Dev
Ops;

Experience with Jira and Service
Now;

Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling;

Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners;

Experience in banking/ fintech projects;

Fluency in English.
