- wide strategic (digital) transformation program that will completely
- design the way that we work and interact with our customers and suppliers.
What will you do?
To ensure successful implementation of our transformation programs, we are in the process of creating a strong program task force that will serve as the backbone of the implementation. As part of this team, you support driving the transformation agenda by functioning as expert in the operational process & systems for
- going & inland transport during and after the implementation of the programs. In your daily work, you will be responsible for making the new systems & processes run smoothly by focusing on high data quality & resolving all data related issues. You will work
- on in the systems as well as coordinating with colleagues in the business to get the desired results.
Within this context, your detailed activities include:
- Act as process & system expert for the relevant program and work with the Application product owner to ensure trouble shooting where required for effective program implementation
- Follow-up and fix operational exceptions (data misalignments, failed events, issues in systems)
- Support in ensuring accurate schedules & schedule planning activities for vessels, trains, barges during the implementation of the programs where the systems are running in parallel
- Execute voyage planning tasks for vessels, trucks, trains, barges in the relevant operational system during implementation of the programs in our test systems
- Coordinate with stakeholders on planning & execution of voyages for example with customer care & other operations teams
- Support in key operational container planning related tasks like empty container repositioning, off hire/on hire, container data updates with the relevant teams
- Ensure data quality & management for
- going & inland terminals to support the business activities - Work with the users to guide them how to best use the system in the new way of working during & post implementation
- Ensure there is a funnel of change requests acquired from the business during & after program implementation
- Coordinate with the system suppliers or internal IT if trouble shooting/additional support is needed
Your team and work environment
Within our Business Engineering & Transformation department, you will be part of a team of approximately 20 people that work in a
- style matrix organization, that consists of project managers and business consultants who drive the transformation agenda across the entire company. Together with the Head of Transformation Delivery & the relevant Program teams, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of transformation projects among all employees. You will work closely with transformation project team members and business SMEs to ensure that new ways of working and systems are effectively implemented across all regions.
Your experience and skills for success
- Master’s / Bachelor’s degree
- 3-4 years relevant experience in application implementation programs
- System savviness, basic data understanding
- Strong planning and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter & high drive to get results
- Problem-solving & proactive mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in
- functional teams - Fluency in English, both spoken and in writing
