Founded in 1984, Our Client is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. The client has its R&D and manufacturing operations in Connecticut. We are searching to augment the Development & Engineering Department with a talented software engineer to design and implement embedded software for systems among the highest precision ever produced in the world.

Skills required:

We are looking for a new Senior colleague, with at least 5-8 years of overall working experience. At least 5 years should be on project stack:

Proven experience with Linux (proficiency in CLI)
Proven experience with Python
Proven experience with C/C++ programming languages
Basic knowledge of networking

Nice To Have:

Linux scripting (shell, bash)
RTOS, Vx
Works knowledge
Agile Methodologies
Team oriented and Proactive

Responsibilities:

• Gather input/requirements, contacting relevant stakeholders
• Participation in the design and development of the different software tools
• Development and maintenance of software tools (written in Python and C)
• Development of
- tests, participation in the code review process
• Documentation of designed software
• Test cases creation and execution for validating the developed tools
• Close interaction with all team members and customer representatives
