About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our partner, a leading media and business publisher in the US.
The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining automation tests, in close collaboration with the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain cases scenarios/scripts, in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies
- Design, create, execute & integrate automation tests
- Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team
- Proposals of new testing approaches and frameworks that can help assure quality of the overall platform and products
- Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing
Requirements:
- Strong experience in QA Automation on web-based projects (frontend QA automation mainly)
- Strong experience with QA automation in JavaScript or TypeScript-based frameworks, preferably Cypress. io
- Strong grasp of coding practices and QA automation practices
- Experience with Git, or similar source control
- Experience with Ticket Creation/Bug Tracking tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is nice to have
- Familiarity with TestRail or similar test management tools
- Very good English and presentation skills
