Senior Solution Architect (Presales)
Job Description
Mirantis is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Pre
Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving
- scale,
- level sales opportunities, tailoring Mirantis' solutions to meet complex customer needs, and providing leadership throughout the sales cycle.
Role Description:

Collaborate with Account Executives to craft sales strategies and align Mirantis solutions with customer needs.
-
Lead large enterprise discovery sessions, technical presentations, and solution design workshops.
-
Develop and articulate tailored solutions that fit customers' technical and business needs.
-
Drive RFQ/RFP responses, ensuring Mirantis solutions are presented effectively.
-
Advocate for customer needs and translate these needs across Mirantis’ services, product, and support teams.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal
- sharing.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience required.
-
10+ years of consultative
- facing architecture and
- sales experience. -
Experience with container orchestrators (Kubernetes or Swarm).
-
Familiarity with Linux and Windows architecture and tools.
-
Hands-on experience deploying to private and public cloud infrastructure (VMware, AWS, Azure, etc. ).
-
Strong understanding of key Dev
Ops concepts and tools (automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD), configuration management, serverless architecture). -
Experience with key web, networking, storage, and security protocols (HTTP(S), TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, AD/LDAP, NFS, SAN, NAS, etc. ).

Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture best practices with relevant experience building, deploying, and/or maintaining
- critical applications. -
Hands-on experience with scripting & automation languages (Bash, Power
Shell, Python). -
Hands-on development experience with one or more of the following: Java, C#, Ruby, Node
JS, Go. -
Excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
Requirements:

5+ years of presales or solution architecture experience.

Deep technical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Open
Stack). -
Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and automation tools.
-
Experience in large enterprise environments and complex sales cycles.
-
Strong business and technical communication skills in English.
-
Ability to travel up to 75%.
