The Microsoft Azure Core team builds and manages the fundamental platform across compute, storage and networking services. This role will play a significant part leading the formation of a new team with a mission to build services and automation at the very core of the Azure platform.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with multiple partner teams in planning, designing and implementing some of the foundational building blocks of the Azure platform including highly available services used across the entire platform. We are looking for a strong Technical Product Manager to contribute to a highly functional and performing team. This is a pivotal role in Azure Core and an opportunity to be a founding member of a new Azure Core engineering center in Romania.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong technical and analytical skills, excellent
- group collaboration skills, and a passion for driving great technology designs in partnership with local and remote teams. You should also be able to make data driven decisions and be very strong in deriving insights based on data. You’ll be working with teams across multiple organizations in Azure Core to influence the design of our services, processes, and the tools that will continue to improve the platform. Finally, we’re looking for a team player with a
