Inviting applications for the role of Server Installation Engineer – Assistant Manager – English – Remote Romania.
Responsibilities
• L2/L3 Networking Experience (Routing/VPN connectivity/Tunneling/Firewall)
• Intermediate excel level expertise
• Can write and speak in French & English.
• Experience in SAAS (to setup virtual machines/applications/software)
• Checking the Pre-requests for site Readiness before FSE reaching site.
• Guiding FSE on server
- installation, server Hardware installation.
• Installing & configuring server based on Package.
• Installing & Configuring the 2P/3p (DLIR, Accipio, SSF2, AW) Application.
• Making sure that the server is connected to GE back office via
- RSVP.
• Updating & maintaining the day to day installation activities & development in installation tracker.
• Remotely supporting the FSE based in EMEA/An
Z/APAC for Installing the server.
• Analyzing the SR for CT FF for cost review.
• HPE registrations making sure server device is registered for Warranty
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• B. Tech/B. E in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics and Telecommunication or Mechanical.
• BCA/MCA, B. sc/M. sc IT
• Excellent communicate in French, in both written and oral forms
• Excellent communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a
- vendor environment (Beneficial).
• Basic knowledge of excel and word (Preferred intermediate).
• Good understanding of networks and generic terminologies.
• Year of experience in a Technical Support process (Enterprise or consumer)
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in a remote infrastructure support environment
• Knowledge on Networking concepts
• Excellent communications skills in French & English and ability to work with calmness under stress
• Ability to coordinate with different stakeholders efficiently
Preferred qualifications
• Extensive knowledge of Networking Solutions – Datacenter and Edge
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues, prioritize them and enjoy working with customers
• Strong customer orientation, excellent phone etiquette and work ethics
• Experience/knowledge on Kubernetes (Optional-good to have)
• Linux Experience (Optional-good to have)
• Fundamentals of Cloud computing (Basic cloud operations)
