ServiceNow Developer - Contract
We are looking for an experienced Service
Now Developer who has strong knowledge of the Service
Now platform. The successful candidate will join the Service
Now Engineering team and work in a
- paced, agile, and collaborative environment where their contribution will have a direct impact.
This role is a Freelance position, for an initial 12 months. We require candidates to be based or relocate fully to Switzerland (EU Passport required)
The successful candidate will have a proven track record implementing Service
Now and supporting and operating the platform on a

- day basis and will help us design and implement new processes and functionalities. The Service
Now Developer will bring technical expertise developing new features, configuring processes, and implementing new modules in Service
Now. We are looking for a candidate with
- on experience implementing and developing features and integrating with other systems who is used to working in an agile,
- paced, and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Implement complex functionalities to meet business requirements
Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Integrate Service
Now platform with other systems
Participate in the design discussions and architectural decisions
Maintain and support the existing processes
Manage the development life cycle and deployments between Service
Now instances
Participate in Service
Now major upgrades
Produce technical documentation
Requirements
Minimum 6 years' experience as IT developer with minimum 2 years' experience with Service
Now.
Excellent technical knowledge of the Service
Now platform, including experience with at least three Service
Now modules, especially ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, Sec
Ops, and CSM
Strong development skills to implement integrations between Service
Now and other internal systems using tools, technologies, and protocols such as MID Server, REST, ODBC, LDAP, SOAP, etc
Strong knowledge of Service
Now
- and Back End capabilities, including web technologies such as Java
Script, HTML and CSS
In depth knowledge of Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI policies, Validation Scripts and Background Scripts in Service
Now
Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle including business requirements analysis, design, testing and deployment
