Mission

The SRE team is responsible to
- out the SRE practices to improve the reliability of critical services for ING Bank Romania. The SRE team is responsible for definition &
- out of operational SRE practices like observability, major incident management, capacity planning & forecasting, reliability reporting & error budgeting.

Develops, innovates, matures & implements the operational SRE practices and related IT processes across ING, in cooperation with the
- level SRE teams. With the overall purpose to improve reliability of our critical IT & business services. Adopts the global standards for reliability practices. Ensures proper documentation, training material and other ways to get the knowledge to our engineers across ING Bank Romania. Contributes as a reliability expert to key operational activities with a focus on services or incidents touching multiple Tech entities; this includes performing critical business service / critical chain reviews to identify weaknesses to be solved and supporting global incidents (as expert), provide expertise to ensure high quality
- cause analysis and ensure
- up of structural findings with Tech domains.

Your Day to Day

Initial focus will be to lead development of ING’s observability strategy & ensure implementation across global platforms & services, global supporting tooling and entities.

According SRE Strategy Roadmap, the SRE Team will be responsible in performing gap assessments and analyse outcome against defined maturity stages for every IT Process governed by SRE Entity;
