About the team
Stripe’s Local Payment Methods team (LPM Engineering) is dedicated to optimizing payment experiences globally. As we are expanding our portfolio of local payment methods we are also ensuring seamless transactions tailored to regional preferences. LPM Engineering is the first team under Stripe’s Payments umbrella to establish a presence in the new Bucharest, Romania site, part of a phased expansion of the entire group’s presence here. You will have a unique opportunity to be part of a team that helps the unlocking of new markets and empowers businesses worldwide.

In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80%- office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengalaru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater
- office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for
- person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
Pay and benefits
