Team Leader General Ledger

- Supervises and delegates tasks regarding day to day activities to team members;
- Provides services to customers in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements (for the team managed);
- Ensures processes within area of responsibility follow agreed corporate guidelines, Central Directives and local working instructions;
- Implements, conducts and documents process related controls;
- Provides required information/ documents to internal and external auditors;
- Offers support in onboarding new comers (identifies training needs, training assignment, follow up on completion and overall progress/ development);
- Provides guidance to accounting staff to optimize performance, including monitoring workloads and related assignment in order to ensure completion of activities in time and quality;
- Provides support to the Head of SSC, to other SSC departments whenever needed and to other customers’ employees, within the frame of Service Level Agreement;
- Ensures complete timely and duly reporting to management; escalates topics/ issues according to agreed escalation matrix;
- Ensures that customer’s complaints are analyzed and handled efficiently, errors corrected and measures implemented to avoid future occurrence;
- Derives monthly KPIs, analyses and comments results/ variances and proposes improvement measures;
- Attracts, develops, retains and efficiently manages associates within area of responsibility, including direct reports;
- Conducts Goal & Performance Dialogue/Annual Salary Review/Talent & Associate Review for direct reports;
- Creates Work
Ons for replacement of personnel and participates in the hiring process (e. g. screening of candidates proposed by HR, interview participation and hiring decision); - Promotes and drives process standardization, harmonization and improvements (through CIP);
- Approves and monitors vacations, days off, home office and requests from the team, supporting IDM request for the team in his/her area or responsibility;
- Ensures efficient and timely communication with all relevant stakeholders (customers, own team, other shared services processes, external parties, administrative support departments);
- Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.
General responsibilities for managerial role:
Human Resources
- Participates as team member in Hiring team, involved in the Recruitment and Selection process also in Integration of a new team member;
- Responsible for Performance and Talent process (GPD/TAR) and for associate development, motivation / satisfaction and promotion.
- Coordinates the team to achieve business goals.
Legal area
- Ensures that subordinate employees comply with the provisions of the CCM, ROI, Central Directive, decisions and internal procedures of the company;
- Accountable for the confidentiality and security of the documents in his/her department/responsibility and complies with Romanian laws and regulations;
- Responsible for cost center and allocated budget.
Access and Identity Management area
- Ensures that subordinate employees have necessary right access in
- related applications in terms of role and criticalities assigned; - Initiates the removal process immediately in case of transfer or resignation of the associate or if the project profile changes and a specific IT solution is no more required for project specific tasks.
Occupational Health and Safety area
- Conducts the introductive Occupational Health and Safety general training upon employment at the workplace and every six months (including practical applications in first aid and fire extinguishers);
- Coordinates the subordinate employees in case of an emergency and leads them to the gathering points;
- Complies with legislative standards, internal rules, procedures and work instructions regarding Occupational Health and Safety, fire prevention and fire extinction;
- Takes all medical exams, as informed and instructed by the organization, part of Occupational Health and Safety regulations;
- Uses in a correct way the installations, work equipment, appliances and other tools in the facility. Does not turn off, change or remove the safety appliances, especially those of machines, work equipment, tools, technical units and buildings security systems.
Quality Management and Methods area
- Complies with Bosch Group and SO division’s requirements and guidelines in areas such as Quality Management Audits, Quality Objectives, Document Management, Feedback Management, Continuous Improvement, Change Management, Risk Management, etc. Communicates within the team the importance of
- mentioned requirements and ensures compliance. - Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company.
GDRP/ Data Security area
- Implements protection measures regarding information security and personal data processing, established by the BOSCH Group regulations
- Informs the data protection and information security responsible about every unauthorized access to the processed personal data situation and security incidents, as soon as possible.
Qualifications
Studies:
- University Diploma
- High school Diploma
Knowledge and Skills:
- Language: English
- Good organizational skills (organizational design and development, planning and delegation);
- Strategic thinking;
- Good management and leadership skills;
- Previous relevant experience in a similar role;
- Customer and solution oriented attitude;
- Multicultural work environment exposure;
- Promoting the company’s image;
- Solid knowledge of Shared Services Finance and Accounting processes, organization and reporting structures;
- Good experience in working with SAP or other ERP systems;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good presentation skills.
