Position:

We are recruiting a Technical Manager to join our Data Engineering team in Timisoara, Romania. Candidates must have broad experience in a cloud
- centric environment.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the data engineering team in building a new enterprise data platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure/Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Purview, etc. ).
• Ensure observability of platform performance and ensure data quality, consistency and security through the data pipeline
• Optimize data pipeline performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data architects, data governance analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  - date with the latest platform developments and trends.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality, reporting to project stakeholders.
• Mentoring team members and enabling them to progress in their careers

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development and at least 2 years of team leadership experience.
• Strong proficiency in Azure/Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Purview, etc. ) or AWS/GCP equivalents
• Experience with data pipeline development and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and Dev
  Ops practices.
• Understanding of data quality and governance principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
