The Mission

The Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Project has the aim to digitally transform the value proposition and service model offered to our Business Banking clients at group level. The aim is to provide a foundation for global development of solutions and features for Business Banking clients. This will enable us to unlock synergies between countries in the digital transformation and avoid duplication going forward.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead our development squads and facilitate seamless journeys for our users. This is a joint effort between several ING units and you are going to be part of a distributed international and
- cultural team. Each of our squads is responsible for some of the components of our solution and all contribute to the overall vision of building a scalable, secure and performant journey. There is plenty of work, but also a fun and challenging road ahead.

Your day to day*

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

What you’ll bring to the team

-Solid Agile experience with SCRUM and / or Kanban methodologies.

-Familiar with solutions built on Microservices using Java, Java
Script.

-Experience in System design (designing microservices architectures).

-Understanding of web security principles and practices.

-Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them.

-Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across different software development and the business teams.

-Experience in supporting/rolling out software.

-Excellent communication skills,
- active and easy to approach attitude.

-A person that takes timely and informative decisions.

-Availability to interact with different cultures and switch context in short term.
