Traineeship/ Junior Cloud Operations Engineer
Job description
Have you recently finished your bachelor or masters in IT or Computer Science, have taken an interest in Cloud Computing and looking for an IT Traineeship where you can develop yourself both personally and professionally? As a Trainee Cloud Operations Engineer at ORTEC you will be in the unique position to experience and explore the many facets of being a Cloud Engineer at ORTEC.
During a period of two years you will operate in different teams within our organization. Discover what it is like to help build a product that is used by many customers across the globe and how it feels to implement a tailored made solution for one specific customer. For example, you will make sure our products are scalable (e. g. using Kubernetes), hosted in the cloud and you will implement monitoring and alerting. You have the opportunity to work with different tools and techniques like Azure, Jenkins and Power
Shell. If you don’t know them yet, internal courses will help you to get on track and you can trust on the expertise of your colleagues and learn from them.
During your time as trainee, you will be guided by a performance manager. Together you will focus not only on your
- skill developments as a cloud operations engineer, but also on the development of your
- skills as young professional. After two years you will have a good understanding of what type of work gives you energy. As a result of the multiple projects you did, you know many people within the organization. This will enable both you and us to find the right place for you to further your career within ORTEC.
